Liverpool v Everton: Back a tempestuous affair at Anfield

Liverpool v Everton Saturday April 1, 12:30pm Live on Sky Sports 1 Liverpool Liverpool come into this vital derby game in decent form. They followed up good wins against Burnley and Arsenal with a solid 1-1 draw against Man City, and sit now proudly in fourth (they're currently  1.55   to finish in the top four places this season) after a wobble at the turn of the year. A concern for manager  Jurgen Klopp  will be the injury to Adam Lallana, picked up on international duty, and the continuing absence of key midfielder and captain Jordan Henderson who is struggling to shake off injury and hasn't played since the win over Tottenham back in February. Daniel Sturridge is back in full training and may feature at some stage. Everton Ronald Koeman's Everton are in fine form currently and are flying high in seventh, just six points behind Saturday's opponents and only below Arsenal on goal difference. It's been a good season for the Toffees, and they still have an outs...

Manchester United v West Brom: Hosts to show off their squad strength again

Manchester United v West Brom Saturday April 01, 15:00 Manchester United Fixture congestion is often a sign of success, and with Manchester United in the last eight of the Europa League, they now face a month packed with nine games. United boss  Jose Mourinho  is sticking with his somewhat disingenuous narrative about his squad being stretched, and he has hit out at international friendlies, after he lost centre-backs Phil Jones and Chris Smalling while they were on England duty. There's no doubt that United have a long list of absentees. Top scorer  Zlatan Ibrahimovic  and midfielder Ander Herrera are still suspended, while Wayne Rooney and Paul Pogba are injured. That said, I still maintain that the Red Devils have the deepest squad in England, and fleet-footed operators like Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Marcus Rashford could cause the West Brom defence all kinds of problems. Opta  tell us that United have put together an 18-match unbeaten run in the league, and...

Chelsea v Crystal Palace: Low scoring victory for league leaders likely

Chelsea  1.31  v Crystal Palace  13.50 ; The Draw  5.90 Saturday, 15:00 Chelsea The Blues are on a relentless charge towards reclaiming the Premier League  title  after their extraordinary run. Chelsea have dropped just seven points in their last 22 league matches with only one defeat against Tottenham. No-one has been able to live with this consistency and Antonio Conte's side are champions elect with a 10-point cushion at the top. All the stars that went missing last season, after falling out with Jose Mourinho, have returned to the peak of their powers with Diego Costa and  Eden Hazard  unplayable at times. The signing of N'Golo Kante from champions Leicester has been a masterstroke with the midfielder one of the most influential players in the competition. There are no weaknesses in the team and it is almost impossible to make a case for other teams catching Chelsea. Crystal Palace Sam Allardyce's arrival at the start of the year did not ...

Leicester v Stoke: Back a fifth straight win for Shakespeare's Foxes

Leicester v Stoke Saturday, 15:00 Leicester Last season's Premier League champions have four straight wins since they sacked Claudio Ranieri and replaced him with the Italian's assistant manager  Craig Shakespeare . While Leicester's reassurance can be partly put down to the brief psychological boost that can come with a change in manager, Shakespeare has to be given some credit too. By far the most effective decision Shakespeare's made since taking charge is starting  Shinji Okazaki  in every game, after the Japanese international was bizarrely marginalised under Ranieri this season. Okazaki's contribution to Leicester's title triumph has been somewhat overlooked, but his hard work is vital to the team and it's no coincidence that his strike partner Jamie Vardy is now back among the goals. Shakespeare has three players likely to miss the match through injury, with Nampalys Mendy,  Wes Morgan  and Molla Wague all set to be on the sidelines...

Ligue 1 Betting: Monaco the smart pick against overrated PSG

League Cup Final Monaco v PSG Sat, 20:00 BST Live on BT Sport 3 Earlier this season  we took advantage of the bizarrely big prices available on Monaco to avoid defeat against PSG , and we're more than happy to do the same thing ahead of the French League Cup final on Saturday night. Monaco are ahead of PSG in the Ligue 1 standings, yet for some reason PSG are clear favourites to win within 90 minutes when the two sides go head-to-head in the showdown clash at Stade de France this weekend. PSG are  2.06  to lift the League Cup by winning in normal time, with Monaco  3.45 .  Those prices make absolutely no sense  given that all the evidence suggests the two teams have the same chance of winning, or that Monaco should be narrow favourites. Monaco (1st) are 3pts above PSG (2nd) in the Ligue 1 table and have had the better of the Ligue 1 head-to-heads as well: the Principality outfit were 3-1 winners when the two sides met at Stade Louis II last August and pick...
