Watford v Liverpool: Lay the away side at a ridiculously short price

Watford v Liverpool Monday, 20:00 Live on Sky Sports 1 Watford In all it's been another successful season for Watford, who've secured their top-flight status with some room to spare, and although they've been on the end of a couple of poor results recently they've actually won three of their last five. Those nine points are essentially what have guaranteed their safety for another year. As is the Watford way they'll likely replace manager  Walter Mazzarri  in the summer, but overall he's done a decent enough job - recently, with the exception of the Hull reversal they've won the games you'd expect them to win and struggled against better sides like Tottenham. On paper  the Hornets have nothing to play for , but Liverpool are coming to town with a fairly poor record against teams that fit Watford's profile - there's a chance to go out with a bit of a bang in their penultimate home game of the season. Liverpool Liverpool are gunning for a top four ...

Tottenham v Arsenal: Spurs to underline their superiority

Tottenham v Arsenal Sunday April 30, 16:30 Live on Sky Sports 1 Tottenham Tottenham fans can be a self-deprecating bunch, greeting painful defeats with gallows humour and a rueful smile. There's a feeling perhaps that no matter how well the Lilywhites play, they'll do something "Spursy", like having big spells of dominance against Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final, but still losing 4-2. However, there was nothing "Spursy" about the way Mauricio Pochettino's men went to Selhurst Park and beat an in-form Crystal Palace side 1-0. In fact, it was the opposite - Spurs weren't at their free-flowing best, but found a way to win, as  Christian Eriksen's superb long-range drive  sent to points from south London to north London. There's nothing "Spursy" about a team that has won 12 Premier League home games in a row, and that has won its last eight league matches overall. This is one of the most vibrant young teams in Europe, with qua...

Everton v Chelsea: Lukaku to ace his job interview

Everton v Chelsea Sunday April 30, 14:05 Live on Sky Sports 1 Everton  There's no disgrace in drawing 0-0 at West Ham but in the context of Everton's  excellent recent run , it was a bit of a disappointment. The performance as much as the result. But there's no doubt that Everton have come on leaps and bounds under Ronald Koeman. There seems to be a set game-plan, he's rotated the squad well to give everyone a chance while keeping players fresh, has changed systems for particular games and has got the best out of Ross Barkley, something Roberto Martinez never managed. But whatever happens in terms of the league table, this won't be a pleasant summer for  the Dutchman . One or both of Barkley and Romelu Lukaku will have to be sold if they don't put pen to paper and he'll have to be thinking about which players have the right profile to replace them once the money is in the coffers. No new injury news. That means Ramiro Funes Mori,  Seamus Coleman , Yannick...

Manchester United v Swansea: Mourinho's men to grind out a narrow victory

Manchester United v Swansea Sunday 30th April, 12pm Live on BT Sport 1 Manchester United As much as he has promised a return to 'the United way' at Old Trafford,  Jose Mourinho  still has a knack for creating incredibly dull games of football when it suits him. Thursday night's goalless draw with Manchester City was perhaps the perfect example. With injuries ravaging his squad, and a gruelling fixture list thanks to Europa League commitments, 0-0 was a perfectly decent result for Mourinho and his men. A point leaves United still well in the hunt for a  Champions League  spot via the conventional method of finishing fourth, no matter how much the Portuguese manager talks up qualifying via silverware in Europe's secondary competition. United have some very tough remaining fixtures - Arsenal,  Tottenham , Southampton, Crystal Palace - so you would expect them to be well switched on for this one even with the Europa League tie against Celta coming up. Injuries to...
