Copa America 2015: Back the champions to squeeze past plucky Paraguayans

Uruguay vs Paraguay - 20:00
Live on Betfair Live Video
A repeat of the last Copa America final could have proven a nail biting group decider.
As it happens, virtually any result sees both teams progress from Group B, but Uruguay 2.34will still feel that they need a win to try and find a more comfortable way through the draw.
Should the Uruguayans finish third then the quarter-finals will throw up at least one monster clash, but based on what we have seen you have to back the reigning champions.
Paraguay's performance of great note came against Argentina, recovering from 2-0 down to draw with the World Cup finalists. However, the Albiceleste should have been out of sight and 99 times out of 100 they hold on to take all three points. Which is not to say the Paraguayan performance came with no merit, but this column doesn't see any way they're going to turn over Oscar Washington Tabarez's side.
A 1-0 win over Jamaica means Paraguay will be in the quarter-finals come what may, so the late fight may not be in them if they find themselves trailing tonight. And it's hard to look beyond the Uruguayans, especially at odds-against 2.34. Either back them straight, or get the house on Draw No Bet.
Recommended bet: Back Uruguay at 2.34

Argentina vs Jamaica - 22:30

This Argentina 1.16 side hasn't exactly clicked so far in this competition but a hard-fought win in the Rioplatense clásico with Uruguay has boosted them and they could completely unload on Jamaica 28.00 in the way Chile did against Bolivia last night.
Gerardo Martino has struggled slightly for balance in midfield, searching for the right combination of players to put alongside Javier Mascherano, but looks to have finally found a defensive four that fits. The frontline takes care of itself, of course, and it should take care of a Jamaican defence that comprises of mainly Championship-level defenders.
The price for Argentina to win is hardly the most attractive unless you're looking for bank interest level prices, it's a case of getting creative.
Backing them to win to nil at 1.61 doesn't feel horrendous given the Jamaicans are yet to score in the competition and have played two weaker sides. There's the possibility of getting on Argentina to score in both halves 1.70 which feels juicy enough and with Gonzalo Higuaín leading the line for the injured Sergio Aguero, evens 2.00 feels a good price for him to score anytime.
Recommended betBack Argentina to score in both halves at 1.70
